Neurolymphomatosis - Case 2

A 52 year-old man with a history of lymphoma presented with progressive weakness and numbness in the legs along with bladder and bowel incontinence and perineal numbness.

Show the Gadolinium Enhancement of the Cauda Equina

(Left) Sagittal T1-weighted MRI scan; Sagittal T1-weighted MRI with gadolinium.  Note that the conus at the lower end of L1 and the surrounding nerve roots enhance with gadolinium. Subsequent CSF analysis was positive for lymphoma cells.
